Our Team’s Community Commitment

The Clickery Financial team believes it is important to contribute to our local community, so we have built voluntary hours into our working timetable. This ensures that we have time to give back to the area in which we do business. Examples of activities we have taken part in include tree planting, litter picking, rescue dog walking, charity fund raising, conservation work, careers events for young people and free, educational seminars. Clickery also makes donations from our profits to local charities. You can always keep track of what we get up to on Facebook, Linked In and Twitter. If you’d like to make a suggestion for our next community project, we’d love to hear from you. Please get in touch!

As part of our community and environmental commitment, we spent another day with the North Wales Wildlife Trust, this time in the Coed Y Felin nature reserve. We planted 44 Sessile Oak trees and 10 Hazel trees, helping to reforest an area which has recently been felled. It was such a rewarding day ❤️

Another day with the North Wales Wildlife Trust, building bird boxes for their Nature Reserves. They built 11 bird boxes in total, which will provide much needed homes for nesting birds, many of whom have lost habit due to human intervention.

Alex spent the morning at Pets at Home, manning the Almost Home Dog Rescue stand. With the help of Poppy, our office rescue dog, he was able to chat to people about the charity’s work and ways in which they can support. The battle for dog rescues is endless, and every contribution, whether in the form of time or money helps. You can contact Almost Home Dog Rescue directly to speak to them about volunteering, fostering or donation.

Plastic Free Business Champions

Clickery Financial Ltd are proud to have been awarded ‘Plastic Free Business Champion’ status. Some plastic waste reduction changes we have already made to our business include:
  • Eliminating plastic from our stationery by for example, hand writing envelopes rather than using plastic windows
  • We re-use bottles for eco hand soap and washing up liquid and re-fill them at local shops.
  • Any fruit for the office is purchased plastic free from local grocers.
  • Milk comes in re-usable milk bottles.
  • We take re-usable coffee flasks, with coffee from our office and re-fill water our water bottles when out on the road.
  • Our office has a bean to cup coffee machine and beans are sourced in non-plastic packaging.
  • We recycle ink cartridges and crisp packets for charity.
  • All stationery supplies are from sustainable sources and suppliers who use recyclable, non plastic packaging are prioritised.
  • We request e-copies of literature where possible to avoid packaging and wasteful printing.
  • We use plant based, bio-degradable cases for our tablets and work phones.
  • We support charities, and regularly volunteer our team’s time to help with local, community projects that involve litter picking and cleaning up our natural world.
Clickery Financial Ltd is passionate about this cause, and we work hard to minimise our business’ impact on the environment. Alex Vickery, our Chartered Financial Planner, also volunteers on the Mold Plastic Reduction Steering Group.
